Dumfries North West Campus
Working with Dumfries and Galloway Council and Graham Construction S-WP developed the site plan and landscape proposals for this all-through school serving the north of Dumfries. Challenging site conditions with high water table and ground contamination concentrated the school into one corner of the site. Separate play areas were provided for Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools with additional secure spaces for learning supported pupils. S-WP provided sports consultancy advice for the 3G world rugby association standard 3G pitch, a sand-dressed MUGA and two natural grass pitches. The project also included the replacement of a community play park and the provision of parkland planting across the wider site.
